Move to Dallas and Business Ventures (1930–1950)

November 24, 1963: The Assassination of Lee Harvey Oswald
In the aftermath of President John F. Kennedy's assassination, Ruby made international headlines by fatally shooting Lee Harvey Oswald, the accused assassin, in the basement of the Dallas police headquarters. This act catapulted Ruby from local notoriety to historical infamy, linking him indelibly to one of the most scrutinized events in American history.
Trial and Conviction (1964–1966)
Ruby's trial for the murder of Oswald was a media sensation, highlighting his complex personality and the chaotic environment of Dallas at the time.
